Swan Lake is one of the most popular traditional Ballets in the world. His first performance took place at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. The work runs between love and magic, linking in his paintings the eternal struggle of good and evil. The prince Siegfried, enamored of Odette, young person become swan by the spell of the evil Von Rothbart and Odile the black swan and daughter of the sorcerer. It was premiered in 1841 at the Paris Opera, becoming a pure and fundamental piece of classical dance, both for the treatment of romantic ideals and for the use of the most refined theatrical technique of the nineteenth century.
